Wyoming Cowboys vs Air Force Falcons Live Online: NCAA FOOTBALL

Week 3 of the 2022 college football season is highlighted by another loaded schedule of action on CBS Sports Network, which will feature four games over the next two days as the regular season continues to heat up. Up first is a Mountain West showdown between Air Force and Wyoming on Friday, followed by three games Saturday that will feature three nonconference matchups from around the country.

Saturday’s first game pits Army against Villanova as the Black Knights look to bounce back from a pair of close losses while taking on an FCS opponent that is off to a 2-0 start. In the afternoon, Northern Illinois hosts Vanderbilt as the Commodores look to start 3-1 and surpass their win total from the 2021 season.

The nightcap is a Sunshine State battle between UCF and FAU. The Owls seek to start 3-1, while the Knights try to rebound from a 20-14 loss against Louisville last Friday. UCF is 3-0 all-time in the series, but FAU has been solid offensively so far this season.

Storylines: Air Force is flying high into this contest after drubbing in-state Pac-12 foe Colorado 41-10 last week. The Falcons held the Buffs to just 162 total yards while forcing three turnovers. Wyoming is on a two-game winning streak after losing at Illinois in Week 0, and the Cowboys should be motivated to end a two-game losing streak against their annual MWC foe.

In what will be the conference opener for both teams, Air Force (2-0) takes on Wyoming (2-1) on Friday night in Mountain West action. Air Force has put up points in bunches through two games, beating Northern Iowa 41-17 in the opener and then topping Colorado 41-10 last week. The average plus-31 scoring margin from those two games ranks 11th in the nation. Wyoming has been able to light up the scoreboard as well. After a 38-6 loss to Illinois in the opener, the team has beat Tulsa 40-37 in overtime and then Northern Colorado 33-10 last week. These are two strong offenses.
